Cucunci is the plant of the caper, and is known to survive in places with little to no presence of water. It has a strong and wild character. As you reminisce about that summer in Sicily… full of sun, new adventures and fulfillment. Sip Cucunci. A new aromatic sparkling wine bringing sexy back.
Cultivation and winemaking take place in Sicily, in the Belice Valley area, in the hills surrounding Santa Ninfa village.
Relatively deep alluvial based soils of medium texture with a mix of limestone and sand. Dark soils with a good content of organic matter.
Aromatic and soft sparkling wine, with a crisp acidity, yellow fruits and green apples aromas. Its refreshing minerality leads to a pleasant and long-lasting finishing.
Perfect served as an aperitif or with fish starters, grilled fish and tartars. Nice matching also with panzanella with peas and marinated anchovies. Serve at 10-12°C
