Ammasso, flagship wine of Barone Montalto winery, has been awarded again: silver medal at the 21st Internationa Wine Competition at Vinitaly 2014. This shows once again the great quality of this wine with a Sicilian soul, a blend of Nero d'Avola, Nerello Mascalese, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, obtained by partially dried grapes. Federica Lauterio has collected the award. She is our competent winemaker, the one who dedicates herself with passion to the Barone Montalto success.
